2011 Honda CB1000R. I’m a big fan of this bike having owned a Honda 599 and now a Hawk GT. Loving the single-sided swing arm.
The parts Santa paid me a visit. Just in time for the weekend time to get that carb rebuilt.
Using a Dremel with a buffing bit and some metal cleaner works very nice cleaning up the oxidation on the NX luggage rack. Note the difference before(right) after(left).
Cold winter Sunday afternoon spent refinishing the used seat strap I picked up for the NX.
Nice holiday afternoon off to spend cleaning the carb on the NX. New gasket set should be here for next week rebuild.
Pulled the carb now time to disassemble and see what I find.
Found the coolant leak and ordered up a new upper radiator hose along with a carb gasket kit.
